Barbra Stern

Barbra Anne Stern has practiced law for two decades in the state of Florida, handling cases in both state and federal court. Barbra began her practice as an insurance defense attorney primarily representing automobile dealerships in labor and employment matters, defending contractors in construction defect litigation, and representing parties in insurance coverage disputes. Barbra has served for the past five years as outside general counsel and outside employment counsel for at least one Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller local businesses. Barbra has extensive experience representing both employers and employees in employment-related claims, giving her a unique perspective on how to handle and approach employment disputes. She has expanded her practice to include Probate Administration, Estate Planning and Business Law.

Barbra obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1996, and her law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2001 with honors. She has been an active member of the Florida Bar since 2001 and is also admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida and 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Barbra is an active member in her community, volunteering her time on such boards as the Florida Elections Commission, Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, and she is the current Chair of the Broward Performing Arts Center Authority.
